Georgian Foreign Minister Maka Botchorishvili on Wednesday emphasised that maintaining peace was central to the country’s 2025 agenda, stressing the importance of a careful yet courageous foreign policy in the coming year.
In her interview with Imedi TV, Botchorishvili noted that despite progress, Georgia continued to face significant challenges in both domestic and international arenas.
“Everything we witnessed throughout the year was directly related to maintaining peace in our country”, she said.
The Minister stressed that the challenges facing Georgia had not disappeared.
“The challenges have not gone away; there are still many. If we observe, international politics is developing quite dynamically. Of course, in this changing world, where so much is evolving around us, it will be very important next year as well to pursue a cautious foreign policy - careful, yet brave at the same time”, Botchorishvili concluded.
