Over 24 000 jobs will be created during the implementation stage of the Eagle Hills development project, and over 8 000 permanent jobs will be established once the project is completed, the Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze stated on Wednesday during a hearing in Parliament.
According to the Prime Minister, the construction phase will be carried out by Georgian construction companies, in line with Eagle Hills’ operating approach.
“They operate through local companies and plan to contract Georgian firms specifically. Consequently, Georgian companies will employ Georgian citizens to the maximum extent during the implementation of these projects. This practice will contribute significantly to the development of the business sector in Georgia”, Kobakhidze said.
