Georgian PM to meet Pope Leo XIV in Vatican visit

Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze will meet Pope Leo XIV on Monday, during an official visit to the Vatican.

Alongside the meeting with the Pope, Kobakhidze is scheduled to meet Cardinal Pietro Parolin, the Secretary of State of the Holy See, to discuss matters of mutual interest.

The Prime Minister will visit the Vatican together with a delegation that includes Georgian Foreign Minister Maka Botchorishvili, Minister of Culture Tinatin Rukhadze, and Head of the Government Administration Levan Zhorzholiani.
