Georgia’s ruling party Sec Gen says Georgia has stood by Ukraine in all major decisions

Kakha Kaladze, the Mayor of Tbilisi and Secretary General of the ruling Georgian Dream party, on Friday said that in every important decision Georgia had stood where Ukraine and the Ukrainian people needed it to stand, and that everyone should understand and know this.

In his remarks, Kaladze noted that Georgia received many Ukrainian citizens, offered them a helping hand, and would continue to do so in the future.

“In addition, many people came to Georgia. I don’t want it to sound like I’m boasting, but we stood by them in every possible way, we supported these people, and it will be the same in the future - I cannot imagine it being otherwise. But everyone must understand and know that we took steps which, in my view, were supportive of their people and their country”, Kaladze said.
