Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze on Wednesday said the projects initiated by Eagle Hills in Georgia would primarily mean thousands of new, high-paying jobs for Georgian citizens - both during the construction and operational phases.
In his address at the opening of Eagle Hills Georgia office, Kobakhidze noted that the initiative represented new opportunities for adjacent businesses and served as a powerful stimulus for the country’s economic growth.
“I am confident that this partnership will transform the urban landscapes of Tbilisi and Batumi, create new centers of attraction, and further strengthen Georgia’s status as a regional leader and a major investment hub in the region”, the PM said.
He further emphasised that his Government’s policy was to fully support strategic investments that generate employment, strengthen the national economy, and enhance Georgia’s standing on the global investment map.
“Once again, I would like to thank Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, the President of the United Arab Emirates, Mr. Mohamed Alabbar, the founder of EMAAR Group and Eagle Hills, and our partners from the United Arab Emirates for this historic decision”, he continued.
“I am certain that these projects will become another hallmark of our country. I wish you great success, and on behalf of the Government of Georgia, I assure you of our full support and cooperation”, the PM concluded.
