Georgian Railway seeks consultant to oversee construction of rail link to Anaklia Deep Sea Port

Georgian Railway on Sunday launched an expression of interest to select a consulting company to oversee the design and construction of new railway infrastructure connecting the Anaklia Deep Sea Port.

The planned infrastructure includes approximately 17.74 kilometres of railway line, a new station, a railway junction and other related facilities.

Interested consulting companies may submit applications by 5pm on November 17, 2026.

The expression of interest process is being conducted in accordance with World Bank procedures.
