As part of the ongoing NATO-Georgia Exercise 2025, the medical company of the Georgian First Infantry Brigade, equipped with NATO standard resources, conducted a demonstration exercise at the Vaziani Training Area.
According to the exercise scenario, the unit simulated the evacuation of wounded soldiers to a field hospital (ROLE 2F) using specialized Didgori Medevac vehicles, the Georgian Defence Ministry said.
The drill included the provision of initial surgical care and subsequent hospitalisation procedures.
The primary objective of the field training was to enhance the professional skills of military medical personnel, ensuring effective medical support for units under tactical conditions.
NATO medical experts observed the operations of the field hospital (ROLE 2F) deployed by the First Infantry Brigade's medical company.
