Georgian Defence Minister, US Embassy Chargé d’Affaires discuss bilateral cooperation

Georgian Defence Minister Irakli Chikovani on Friday held an introductory meeting with Amy V. Diaz, Chargé d’Affaires of the United States Embassy in Georgia, the Ministry of Defence said.

According to the Ministry, the meeting focused on Georgia-US relations and defence cooperation between the two countries.

The sides discussed current issues related to bilateral cooperation in the defence sector.

The meeting was also attended by First Deputy Defence Minister Paata Patiashvili and US Defence Attaché Colonel Jonathan Adams.
