Georgia, US hold financial review meetings on security assistance

Financial review meetings on US security assistance to Georgia were held at the Georgian Ministry of Defence on September 14-16.

According to the Ministry, the meetings focused on the implementation of assistance provided to Georgia through the US Foreign Military Financing programme and other sources.

Georgia was represented by the Deputy Chief of the Defence Forces and representatives of the General Staff.

The US side was represented by officials from the US European Command and the Defense Security Cooperation Agency.
