Georgian Foreign Minister Maka Botchorishvili on Monday said a meeting with the European Commission scheduled for June 11 on visa-free travel would be constructive.
“We have seen statements by various politicians and activists who are trying to use the issue of visa liberalisation again and again for blackmail, to instill fear in our citizens that visa liberalisation is a threat to Georgian citizens”, the FM said.
“The meeting will be constructive, because this is our interest. That is why the Georgian side is participating in the meeting”, she noted.
