Davit Matikashvili, the Chair of the Committee on Procedural Issues and Rules of the Georgian Parliament, on Thursday said that domestic radical groups financed and influenced from abroad continue to move in the same “vicious circle” and no longer enjoy any real public support.
In his remarks, Matikashvili noted that participants of the recent protest once again appeared before society alongside banners of the former President Mikheil Saakashvili and members of his former government.
“What other expectations could there have been? They once again drove a nail into the coffin of their own political funeral with their own hands, and the public saw this clearly and visibly”, he concluded.
