Georgian Parliament Committee Chair emphasises Georgia’s unique role in developing Europe’s energy security

Nikoloz Samkharadze, the chair of the foreign relations committee of the Georgian Parliament, on Monday emphasised Georgia’s unique role in developing Europe’s energy security.

In his remarks, Samkharadze recalled the statement of Slovak Parliament speaker, who said that Slovakia and Europe needed Georgia to guarantee Europe’s energy security.

“I can quote the Slovak Parliament speaker. He said that Slovakia and Europe need Georgia to guarantee Europe’s energy security. I think we don’t need a clearer message than that. Today, everyone agrees that Georgia has a unique role in the development of Europe’s energy security”, Samkharadze said.
