Georgian prime minister Irakli Kobakhidze on Tuesday said that if anyone has distanced themselves from Europe, it is the European bureaucracy itself.
“When you attack media freedom, when you attack human rights and democratic values, that is exactly what distancing looks like”, he stated.
Commenting on the EPC meeting held in Armenia, the prime minister said he would not make further remarks on the matter, but extended congratulations to the country.
“I would like to congratulate Armenia, our friendly and neighbouring country, for hosting such an important event yesterday”, Kobakhidze said.
