Georgian prime minister Irakli Kobakhidze on Monday highlighted the necessity of pursuing a pragmatic policy in all directions.
In his remarks, Kobakhidze stressed that Georgia must navigate a complex geopolitical landscape by protecting its national interests, even when faced with “harsh” external opposition.
“We must pursue a pragmatic policy in all directions. Even where there are harsh interests directed against Georgia's interests, we must try our best to protect our positions. You must try to cooperate everywhere; this is the essence of our policy”, the PM said.
“This has been the case for centuries and this is still the case today. We are a small country and therefore, we need to navigate, we need to pursue a maximally pragmatic policy and this is how we have been working all these years”, he concluded.
