Georgian, UAE FMs discuss friendly relations, close cooperation

Friendly relations between Georgia and the United Arab Emirates as well as close cooperation across various sectors were discussed on Thursday in a meeting between the Georgian foreign minister Maka Botchorishvili and her Emirati counterpart Saeed bin Mubarak Al Hajeri.

The meeting emphasized the positive momentum of high-level visits.

The officials further highlighted the importance of ongoing and planned investment projects in Georgia.

The parties also exchanged views on current developments in the Middle East and the partnership with Georgia in the context of the South Caucasus region.

The officials reiterated their government’s mutual readiness to further intensify the existing cooperation.
