Georgian president Mikheil Kavelashvili on Wednesday said Georgia and Kazakhstan are set to sign a strategic partnership document in the near future, outlining cooperation opportunities across multiple sectors.
In his remarks, Kavelashvili noted that during his meeting with the Kazakh leadership, both sides emphasised their long-standing friendship.
“I recently met with the president of Kazakhstan, where we emphasised that our longstanding friendship, spanning various areas including trade and economic relations, calls for the signing of a strategic partnership document”, he said.
“We have agreed on this, and in the near future, Kazakhstan and Georgia will sign such a document, which will detail the capabilities of both countries and the mutually beneficial processes in all directions”, Kavelashvili concluded.
