Georgian PM highlights productive phone call with US Secretary of State Marco Rubio

Georgian prime minister Irakli Kobakhidze on Monday highlighted a productive phone call with US secretary of state Marco Rubio.

As Kobakhidze noted in a social media message, the conversation emphasised the importance of resetting partnership and reinforcing Georgia’s role as a strong partner in the South Caucasus region.

“I had a productive phone conversation with Marco Rubio. We emphasised the importance of resetting our partnership and reinforcing Georgia’s role as a strong partner in the South Caucasus. We are committed to strengthening Georgia-US ties and advancing regional stability and connectivity”, he concluded.
