Starting from April 13, 2026, Georgia will become the chair country of the OSCE Forum for Security Co-operation (FSC). On March 25, during the final session of the French chairmanship, a ceremony was held to symbolically hand over the chairmanship to Georgia.
Georgia will lead the Forum for Security Co-operation until September 4, after which the chairmanship will be transferred to the United Kingdom.
The Forum for Security Co-operation is a key decision-making body of the OSCE, whose primary objective is to promote the strengthening of security within the OSCE framework.
