Armenian prime minister Nikol Pashinyan on Wednesday highlighted that Georgia serves as a key pathway for Armenia toward integration with the European Union
In his speech at the European Parliament, Pashinyan called on the European Union to continue constructive relations with Georgia.
“Georgia is our pathway to the European Union. We launched the process of Armenia’s accession to the European Union after Georgia received the EU membership candidate status. This made Armenia’s membership perspective tangible”, the Armenian PM said.
“We expect and ask that a constructive process between the European Union and Georgia continues. This is important for Armenia. It is also important for Georgia”, he concluded.
