Georgian President, OSCE PA President discuss ongoing political processes in Georgia

Ongoing political processes in Georgia were discussed on Tuesday in a meeting between Georgian president Mikheil Kavelashvili and OSCE Parliamentary Assembly president Pere Joan Pons Sampietro.

Kavelashvili emphasised that Sampietro’s visit was a good opportunity to hold discussions on current issues and to deepen future cooperation.

The president also noted that since 2012, Georgia had been and remains a firm supporter of democratic principles, human rights, and the rule of law.

He further emphasised that Georgia has consistently acted as a constructive and responsible participating state, committed to strengthening multilateral cooperation and dialogue.
