Archil Gorduladze, the Chair of the Georgian Parliament’s Legal Affairs Committee, on Monday said the main goal of individuals funded from abroad was to carry out assigned tasks.
In his interview with Imedi TV, Gorduladze noted that such individuals create a radical environment in the country, promote extremism, and later leave people facing serious consequences.
“Foreign-funded individuals create a radical background, incite extremism, push people to commit crimes, and then abandon them, which serves their purpose. In one scenario, if the criminal actions of these individuals produce results, the interests of foreign powers are implemented, and their controlled agents come to power via revolution. If this fails and law enforcement agencies complete their work properly, the perpetrators are then presented as victims of political persecution”, the Chair said.
