Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze on Thursday criticised the United States Helsinki Commission for pursuing the so-called deep state line very actively, which, according to him, was also clearly visible on the example of Georgia.
In his remarks, Kobakhidze noted that the Helsinki Commission in the United States was used as the main tool against Georgia's interests.
“The example of Georgia also shows what processes are developing in the Helsinki Commission. Do you remember that in the US the Helsinki Commission was used as the main tool against the interests of Georgia. [Joe] Wilson was specifically involved in this, and all this was actually exposed with the information that was disseminated in the US. Everyone sees that the so-called deep state line is being pursued very actively by the Helsinki Commission, and in this regard, I will say once again that all this is very clearly visible in the example of Georgia”, the PM said.
