Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze on Wednesday expressed his Government's desire to renew strategic partnership with the United States from a clean slate with a concrete roadmap.
A journalist asked Kobakhidze about the meeting between Lasha Darsalia, the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Georgia, and a senior US State Department official regarding the US-Georgia relationship.
“From our side, the discussion was about the same thing we are talking about, we want to renew our strategic partnership from a clean slate, with a concrete roadmap. This is our openly extended hand. We are patiently waiting for a response to this and I hope that response will come from the American side. This is our optimistic expectation, and we will see how events develop”, the PM said.
