The Government has a very liberal economic policy, which promotes economic growth in the country, said on Tuesday the Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Kobahidze at a roundtable meeting titled The Future of Investments held within the framework of the 2026 World Governments Summit in Dubai.
In his speech, Kobakhidze emphasised the right tax policy, which was creating good conditions for investment activities in the country.
“We have a very liberal economic policy, which promotes economic growth. Tax rates are very low and we have the right tax policy, which creates good conditions for investment activities in Georgia. We have a simple bureaucracy, which also creates good conditions for economic activities. We can also proudly say that the economy is distinguished by effective management”, the PM said.
“The country has a low level of corruption. If we look at international, global indices, Georgia is one of the leaders, and we rank the first in the region in terms of low corruption levels. We have better indicators than eight-nine European Union member states. All this creates good conditions for ensuring economic growth in Georgia, and this is precisely our vision: to create the right environment for foreign investors to carry out economic activities in Georgia. This approach works quite well”, he concluded.
