The 130th meeting of the Incident Prevention and Response Mechanism (IPRM) was held on Thursday in the village of Ergneti in Gori Municipality. During the meeting, participants discussed all significant incidents recorded in the Russian-occupied region and along the occupation line since the previous IPRM session.
Representatives of the State Security Service of Georgia once again demanded that those responsible for the killing of Georgian citizen Tamaz Ginturi be identified and held accountable.
Representatives of the central authorities focused on the issue of individuals held in illegal detention and called for the release of all detainees.
The illegal restriction of freedom of movement was also a key topic of discussion. An extensive exchange of views took place regarding the movement regime at the so-called crossing points.
