US Embassy: Georgia one of eight partner nations chosen to participate in Phoenix Express 2026

Georgia has officially joined the multinational maritime exercise Phoenix Express 2026, according to an announcement made by the US Embassy in Tbilisi.

“Georgia is one of 8 partner nations chosen to participate in this prestigious exercise”, the Embassy message said.

The primary goal of Phoenix Express 2026 is to increase the collective readiness of partner countries to combat illegal activities at sea, including smuggling and unauthorized maritime movement.
