Davit Matikashvili, an MP from the ruling Georgian Dream party and Chair of the Georgian Parliament’s Committee on Procedural Issues and Rules, on Monday said the EU High Representative Kaja Kallas has done everything to direct a wave of coercion and injustice toward Georgia.
In his interview with Imedi TV, Matikashvili noted that Kallas’ statements, views, and assessments now provoke justified protest even within the European Union itself.
“If we look at Kaja Kallas’s statements, we have already seen many such outbursts that were unacceptable for the Georgian reality. It turned out that this woman also causes irritation in the European Union. It is up to them to decide who they will have in leadership positions, but the fact is that Kaja Kallas’ incompetence and her inability to conduct [effective] policy can further harm the European Union, which is already in a major crisis”, Matikashvili said.
