Levan Machavariani, the First Deputy Chair of the ruling Georgian Dream party faction in the legislative body, on Wednesday said the Georgian Government continued to pursue a pragmatic policy.
In his interview with Imedi TV, Machavariani noted that it was important “for us” to calmly observe the formation of a new world order, to remain cautious and pragmatic in order to preserve peace and further strengthen the country's sovereignty and independence.
He further commented on developments in Ukraine.
“There are numerous scandals in Ukraine. From the perspective of the Ukrainian people, this is extremely distressing - millions of people have been living in this tragedy for four years, while their authorities are engaged in self-serving activities. Questions have also emerged regarding Mr. Arakhamia”, Machavariani said.
Corruption scandals in Ukraine continue. Information emerged on Wednesday about two additional cases involving Yulia Tymoshenko and David Arakhamia.
