Georgian FM highlights country's importance in playing significant role in connectivity between West and East and beyond

Georgian Foreign Minister Maka Botchorishvili on Wednesday highlighted the country's importance in playing a significant role in connectivity between the West and the East and beyond.

In her remarks, Botchorishvili noted that Georgia had a huge potential to be a global hub in this direction.

As she further added, within the framework of the Abu Dhabi Sustainable Development Week summit, the Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze would discuss the issue of the Middle Corridor, its importance and role both for the South Caucasus region, globally as well as specifically for the country.

“It is important for us that at such forums, which are related to economic development, the development of countries, Georgia’s position is understood and the role that our country can play for the region is well understood”, the FM said.
