The representatives of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe’s Monitoring Committee are scheduled to hold meetings at the Georgian Parliament on Tuesday.
The members of the delegation on Monday met with representatives of the non-Governmental sector and opposition parties.
When asked whether they condemned the October 4 storming of the Presidential Palace and the attempted overthrow of the Government, the members of the Monitoring Committee did not provide an answer.
Members of the ruling Georgian Dream party said they would express the same position during the meeting with the delegation as they had done publicly.
According to them, the goal was to speak the truth and present the ongoing processes objectively before the public.
