Georgia’s ruling party official says radical domestic opposition directly aims at damaging country’s economy

Irakli Kirtskhalia, the Chair of the ruling Georgian Dream party faction in the legislative body, on Monday said that in recent years, it had been clearly visible how the economy had been under attack, noting that those behind it knew that when a country was not economically stable, it was easy to shake its Government.

In his remarks, Kirtskhalia noted that the radical domestic opposition was directly aimed at damaging the economy.

“They know that when a country is not economically stable, it is easy to shake its government. However, our society has repeatedly given them a clear answer that we will continue to develop with the pragmatic and cool-headed approach that Georgian Dream has today”, he noted.
