Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze on Friday said that the country was enjoying stability, no elections would be held for the next three years, and his Government could fully focus on national development, noting that despite all the turbulence the country had experienced, Georgia had demonstrated a high rate of economic growth.
In his interview with TRT World, Kobakhidze noted that Georgia had faced many challenges over the past few years, especially after the 2020 parliamentary elections.
“We faced five different attempts to overthrow the Government, but now the situation is completely stable, and through our consistent policies, we managed to stabilize it. The opposition has become very weak due to the steps taken in recent years”, the PM said.
“Now we have stability. There will be no elections for the next three years, which means we can be fully focused on the country’s development. Despite all the attempts and turbulence the country has gone through in recent years, we have shown a very high rate of economic growth, and now we are fully focused on this”, he concluded.
