Mariam Kvrivishvili, the Minister of Economy and Sustainable Development of Georgia, on Monday said an important visit to China, led by Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze, would include several high-level meetings, including with the Chinese Prime Minister.
In her remarks, Kvrivisvili highlighted that new bilateral agreements would be signed during the visit, aimed at strengthening both trade and people-to-people relations between the two countries.
She also stressed that, for the first time, Georgia would participate as an honoured guest country at China’s largest international import exhibition.
“Around 40 Georgian companies will join us in China, having the opportunity to proudly promote Georgian-made products at this major international event. One of our key objectives is to increase the export of Georgian products, and we will use this platform to further expand the presence of Georgian goods in the Chinese market”, Kvrivishvili concluded.
