Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze on Friday said his Government had taken multiple specific steps to combat corruption, and the Government’s activities were now fully transparent, with all acts publicly accessible.
In his remarks at a Government meeting, Kobakhidze expressed his gratitude to the Minister of Infrastructure, highlighting the importance of establishing new practices to ensure the high-quality implementation of all infrastructure projects in the country.
He further added that the results of these efforts were already visible and were expected to become even more evident in the future.
“I would like to take this opportunity to thank Mr. Revaz Sokhadze for his work to date - for addressing problematic projects and for helping to establish new practices that guarantee the high-quality implementation of all infrastructure projects in the country. The results are already visible, and they will become even more noticeable”, the PM said.
“The Government’s work is entirely transparent, and every Government act is accessible to the public. If anyone identifies any signs of malpractice in any act, they are free to raise questions - and every question will receive an answer. We will continue working in the same transparent manner in the future”, Kobakhidze concluded.
