Preserving peace requires tremendous effort - we consistently choose this path because the outcome of war is human tragedy, destruction, and devastation, while the outcome of peace is the country’s progress, development, and greater public welfare, said on Friday Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze.
In his remarks at an event marking Veterans Day, Kobakhidze noted that striving for peace meant being constantly ready to defend the homeland, and in this perpetual readiness, the experience of veterans was invaluable.
“I once again want to thank you for your patriotism, dedication, and the special contribution you have made to the country’s development. We will continue our efforts to properly honor your service. Once again, I congratulate you on Veterans Day and wish you peace, strength, and prosperity”, he said.
