Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze on Wednesday assured the public that the country would continue on a path of stable, peaceful development over the next three years.
Speaking about the upcoming political landscape, the Prime Minister emphasised that preparations should begin for the parliamentary elections scheduled for October 28, 2028.
“I believe the opposition no longer has significant resources. You may recall my statements and those of our team regarding October 4; we repeatedly stressed that the elections would pass very calmly, and indeed, the day itself was peaceful. We delivered on the promises we made to the public. Despite attempts at large-scale violence, not a single hair was harmed, and the special operation was carried out smoothly. This was a promise that we fulfilled”, the PM said in an interview with the Georgian Public Broadcaster.
“We also promise the public that over the next three years, the country will continue its stable, peaceful, and harmonious development. This is our commitment to society, and everyone should prepare for the parliamentary elections on October 28, 2028”, he concluded.
