The European Commission, within the framework of its Coherent Development Report, has published the Democratic Transformation Index, placing Georgia 41st worldwide, outperforming six G7 member states and twelve EU and NATO states.
The report evaluates 148 countries’ commitment to sustainable, fair, and equitable human development, including policies that uphold democratic governance, human rights, and freedom of assembly.
The Democratic Transformation Index measures how committed countries are to public policies designed to build democratic, peaceful societies that uphold human rights, freedom of assembly, and the right to protest.
