Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze on Thursday warned that anyone attempting to break the law would receive an appropriate response, including from the Ministry of Internal Affairs, ahead of the opposition’s rally scheduled for the election day on October 4.
Kobakhidze made this statement in response to a journalist's question regarding the leak of the list of employees and the action plan of the Special Tasks Department, stressing that such moves represent futile attempts that only reveal the “weak image of the radical opposition”.
“They will not achieve any goal through such actions. If anyone decides to violate the law, they will face an appropriate response, including from the Ministry of Internal Affairs. This is a simple warning we can give to these individuals”, the PM said.
