Nino Tsilosani, an MP for the ruling Georgian Dream party and Vice Speaker of the Georgian Parliament, on Tuesday said October 4 - the local self-government election day - would once again mark a day of victory for the Georgian people and the ruling party.
In her remarks, Tsilosani emphasised that this date would also symbolise the end of the radical opposition in the country.
“From the day of these elections, it will be the beginning of their last days, as no institution in this country will tolerate unconstitutional and criminal actions. October 4 will once again be the day of victory for the Georgian people and for the Georgian Dream, and at the same time, it will be the day of the radicals’ end”, the Parliament official said.
“The fact that the opposition cannot consolidate or coordinate among themselves once again proves that their downfall has already begun”, she concluded.
