Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze on Saturday said that in October, a lawsuit would be filed in the Constitutional Court seeking to declare all parties associated with the collective United National Movement as unconstitutional.
In his remarks, Kobakhidze emphasised that the step was part of a democratic process and a legitimate legal mechanism.
“In October, a lawsuit will be filed regarding the declaration of all parties considered part of the collective United National Movement as unconstitutional”, the PM said.
“This is a democratic process, and this lawsuit will definitely be submitted to the Constitutional Court”, he concluded.
