Giorgi Chakvetadze, the First Deputy Chair of the Education, Science and Youth Affairs Committee of the Georgian Parliament, on Thursday sharply criticised Ukrainian President’s remarks at the United Nations, in which Zelenskyy alleged that “we have already lost Georgia in Europe. Human rights and the European nature of the state system are only shrinking there”.
“A representative of a country currently at war used the UN platform to spread disinformation”, the Georgian Parliament official said.
“Over the years, we have repeatedly heard similar statements from these individuals, particularly from Zelensky and his circle. However, the Georgian public is well aware of the true meaning behind such remarks”, Chakvetadze concluded.
