Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze on Thursday said the state institutions were stronger than ever, and no one would be allowed to pursue either revolutionary or radical scenarios.
Speaking to journalists, Kobakhidze emphasised that discussions about radicalisation and radical plans have circulated for many years, yet none have ever been successful, as the state has always acted decisively.
“The opposition is in disarray. There are two parties participating in the elections, while two others go so far as to declare participation itself as betrayal. They have lost their political function in this regard. As a result, they are left with nothing but to talk about so-called radical scenarios”, the PM said.
He further underlined that such rhetoric had consistently failed to materialise.
“Especially now, when our state and institutions are stronger than ever, no one will be given the chance to carry out not only a revolutionary scenario, but even a radical one”, he concluded.
