Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze on Monday said that the upcoming local self-government elections would be held in a competitive environment.
In his remarks, Kobakhidze noted that several relatively large opposition parties were participating in the elections, along with smaller parties.
“We are fully focused on our electoral goals. We have one objective - to win both the mayoral and city council elections in all 64 municipalities. You can already see the spectrum and their positions”, he said.
“We are absolutely confident that we will win the mayoral and city council elections in all 64 municipalities”, the Prime Minister concluded.
