Georgian Parliament Speaker Shalva Papuashvili on Friday said that anyone participating in the campaign accusing others of being pro-Russian was either a funded agent or a useful idiot, citing the US intelligence test as “infallible”.
Papuashvili’s remarks came in response to comments made by opposition figure Koba Khabazi, who claimed that “every step Bidzina Ivanishvili takes is pro-Russian”.
“This member of the nomadic circus troupe known as the United National Movement, who apparently has already defeated everyone on the battlefield in Ukraine and has now turned his attention to Georgia, speaks in this video about Bidzina Ivanishvili [the founder of the ruling Georgian Dream party]”, the Speaker wrote in a social media post.
“The US intelligence test is infallible - everyone who takes part in the campaign to label others as pro-Russian is either a paid agent or a useful idiot”, he concluded.
