Georgian Foreign Minister Maka Botchorishvili on Monday expressed regret over what she described as the “very intensive encouragement of extremism and radicalism” in Georgia.
Her comments came in response to the German Ambassador's visit to support an opposition hunger striker on Rustaveli Avenue.
In his remarks, Botchorishvili noted that the promotion of extremism and radicalism negatively impacts the country's political development.
“It is regrettable that the encouragement of extremism and radicalism is happening very intensively in our country, which, of course, has a negative impact on the country's political development”, the Foreign Minister said.
