Embassy of Georgia in Israel unharmed after nearby shelling

The Embassy of Georgia in Israel on Thursday said that a shell had fallen near the building housing the Embassy, but the structure had not been damaged and the diplomatic mission continued to function.

The Embassy reported that the diplomatic mission was following the security instructions issued by the relevant authorities and remained operational.

“Taking into account the current security situation in the State of Israel, the Embassy of Georgia continues to operate under a special regime”, the statement reads.

“We urge Georgian citizens to follow the instructions of the local authorities”, The Embassy concluded.
