Nikoloz Samkharadze, the Chair of the Foreign Relations Committee of the Georgian Parliament, on Tuesday commented on the Parliament Speaker Shalva Papuashvili’s visit to Turkey, emphasising the significance of the visit due to the strategic partnership between the two nations.
In his remarks, Samkharadze noted that the Georgian delegation would hold a series of high-level meetings in the Grand National Assembly of Turkey.
“We will meet with the Speaker of the Parliament, the Chair of the Foreign Affairs Committee, the head and members of the Turkey-Georgia Friendship Group, as well as other colleagues. This is a significant visit, considering the deep strategic partnership between Georgia and Turkey. There are numerous cooperation formats between our countries, both at the parliamentary and executive levels - bilaterally and trilaterally. During this visit, we will discuss areas where cooperation can be further enhanced”, Samkharadze said.
