Mamuka Mdinaradze, the Executive Secretary of the ruling Georgian Dream party, on Sunday said the future of the Georgian nation hinged on its ability to make independent decisions within its own borders, regardless of external discussions.
In a social media message, Mdinaradze noted that “if Georgians do not decide their own fate in their homeland”, the nation could cease to exist within a few decades.
“No matter what is said outside the country, if we do not decide what is ours to decide here, in our homeland, the nation will cease to exist in a few decades. That is why the country's independence is the main priority -independence from everyone”, the ruling party official said.
Mdinaradze further expressed confidence that the Georgian Dream Government, alongside the Georgian people, would achieve this goal.
“Together with the Georgian people, who possess immense self-respect, we will achieve this and live in a united, strong, proud Georgia. There is no other way. This is how the Georgian Dream must come true”, he concluded.
