Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze on Friday emphasised that Georgia’s national interests and regional role were discussed in direct talks with top European leaders within the framework of the European Political Community (EPC) Summit in Tirana.
In his remarks, Kobakhidze noted that he had held discussions with several high-ranking European officials, including French President Emmanuel Macron and European Parliament President Roberta Metsola, focusing on Georgia’s development, European integration, and regional significance.
“Since these were direct conversations, we are not authorised to disclose specific details. However, in general, I can tell you that we shared our messages concerning Georgia’s interests - with President Macron, Roberta Metsola, and other political leaders”, the PM said.
