Georgian Foreign Minister Maka Botchorishvili on Thursday emphasised the importance of the European Political Community Summit, describing it as a key platform for discussions at the highest level on issues that matter to the region.
In her remarks, Botchorishvili noted that the participation of the Georgian Prime Minister in this format was another valuable opportunity to draw attention to issues that were important for the country.
“Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze’s participation in this format is another important opportunity for Georgia to highlight issues of national importance, as European leaders discuss matters related to security and cooperation across the region”, the FM said.
Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze will feature at the European Political Community Summit in Tirana on Friday at the invitation of European Council President António Costa.
The summit brings together leaders from around 50 countries, along with heads of European and international institutions, to discuss pressing issues such as European security, economic and energy resilience, and the challenge of irregular migration.
